Introduction: The text of the brick is vertically written. The characters are cut in relief and of regular scrip. One side of the inscription is: Dispatching Officer of Anqing Prefecture, Tongpan Wang Shilian and clerk Deng Youji; Dispatching Officer of Tongcheng County, Registrar Xia Zhongyin and clerk Yu Xiang. The"Tongpan" in the brick text is the an official under the magistrate of prefecture and is in charge of grain transportation and farmland water conservancy, senior sixth rank.
